Are you passionate about reading and writing?

Are you someone who loves being involved in the literary community?

We are looking to present one student with our Literary Leadership Award as a recognition of all they do in our literary community.

  • Does reading excite you, like you just can’t wait for the new Sarah J Maas book?

  • What do you read? Do you read voraciously? Do you have a favourite genre or do you read across genres?

  • Do you have and share opinions about what you read?

  • Do you participate in book clubs and/or online forums?

  • Do you encourage others to read, to write, to get involved?

  • Do you hang out in your school library or stalk your local bookshop?

  • Do you engage with authors? Attend author events?

  • Do you enter writing competitions? Do you participate in the Talented Young Writers programme?

  • Do you see yourself as a writer, now and/or in the future?

  • Do you see yourself as a librarian or teacher, inspiring a love of reading and books in others?

If you answer ‘Yes’ to any of these questions, then nominate yourself for the inaugural Between the Lines Literary Achievement Award.

All you have to do is tell us your story!

What is your background? What are you involved in? What have you achieved? What are your dreams? How are you making them a reality?

Your nomination can be in any format you choose – be as creative as you like.

You may nominate yourself for this award or alternatively a teacher/book lover can nominate a worthy student.
