Masterclass with Michelle Johnston and Josephine Taylor

A masterclass with Michelle Johnston and Josephine Taylor will be held from 3:15 - 4:15. The focus of the masterclass will be beautifying sentences.

About Michelle Johnston:

Dr Michelle Johnston is a consultant Emergency Physician who works at an inner city hospital. Mostly her days consist of trauma and mess. Also, she writes. She believes there is a beating heart of humanity, art, and beauty within the sometimes brutal reality of the Emergency Department, and she has dedicated her career to finding that sweet spot between creativity and critical care medicine.

About Josephine Taylor:

Josephine Taylor is a writer, editor, and Adjunct Senior Research Fellow in Writing at Edith Cowan University. Her debut novel, Eye of a Rook, was published by Fremantle Press in February 2021 and subsequently shortlisted in the WA Premier’s Book Awards.
